Shuiskite-(Mg)

Pumpellyite Group. Cr analogue of Pumpellyite-(Mg). Old note: According to Nagashima et al. (2010), it is questionable whether shuiskite is an independent mineral species - in their original description, Ivanov et al. (1981) assigned all Cr3+ ions to the Y site, but the distribution of Cr among the X and Y sites has not been determined. New note: not questionable. Shuiskite-(Mg) is the Mg-OH analogue of shuiskite-(Cr) (IMA nomenclature proposal approved in March 2020).
