Peprossiite-(Ce)

The first anhydrous rare-earth-element borate. Formed in cavities in sanidine ejecta by circulation of pneumatolytic to hydrothermal fluids, probably above 350 °C. Peprossiite-(Ce) was first found by Italian mineral collector Giorgio Penco in 1986.
