Monimolite

A secondary mineral occurring in calcite veins in iron and manganese deposits and in the oxidized zone of a polymetallic deposit. The problematical species monimolite (Igelström 1865, Mason & Vitaliano 1953) is almost certainly identical with oxyplumboroméite, but needs re-examination. According to Hålenius and Bosi (2013), monimolite should be discredited.
